I just have to say that your table is one of my favorite setups I've seen yet! I'm so not the blingy kind of girl either. I can appreciate it, but I have a more simple style. I do like bold prints for fabrics, but I don't like ornate and intricate things.

I absolutely love your table runner! And I love how your table has an unexpected modern twist with the candles and plates. Love it!

I don't blame you! I don't usually over-do it on the glittery, bling-bling decorations either (my husband isn't a fan of glitter for one thing, plus it can rub off and get everywhere). Especially on the table, maybe just a simple candle centerpiece or something. You're totally right... when it comes to the holidays, the food is the only eye candy you need!

I love the china cabinet in the corner - so much open storage (I'm jealous!). And I am totally with you on the ice cream and pumpkin pie. Pretty much the best part of Thanksgiving in my humble opinion!

We always have to take the centerpieces off our table before we have dinner, so I understand. I tend to focus more on decorating our living room because I don't have to always move things around.
