I'm hoping it will look great hanging from the old recessed light fixture above the built-in desk in my woman cave.
It's not too cute when lit - sort of reminds me of a parking garage. It really needs to be converted to a pretty hanging pendant, don't you think?
I just need to figure out how to get the old fluorescent tubing fixtures out of there, as the previous owners converted it to a regular fixture already.
I'll let you know how it turns out soon! And possibly even show you the completed room sometime before the end of time. The bookshelves aren't quite finished yet! Gah, I'm slow as molasses.
LOVE the pendant light idea...it'll look perfect!
ReplyDeletethere is a thingamabob at Home Depot/Lowes that turns a recessed light with screw-in bulb to a light fixture socket, it just screws in....maybe that might work here, since its a screw-in lightbulb?
ReplyDeleteMy heart is racing at the sight of that light...Hello, Lover...
ReplyDeleteThat room looks so crispy already! Love all the white in there. That light will be perfect for the space. And I spy these great frames.. Pier 1 or Z Gallerie? I've seen these before...
ReplyDeleteOh man...I can't believe I missed the giveaway! :) Love that pendant light...it will look great in your woman cave!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do with the recessed light area. Our entire house is recessed florescent fixtures. They look okay, not like a parking garage, but I could do without them.
ReplyDeleteOoh, that light will look amazing in your woman cave! I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteI think that will look amazing hanging from there. You and your man are literally amazing when it comes to fixing the old and replacing it with new!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it up! This day light savings time is making it hard to get projects done...at least that is the excuse I'm using.
ReplyDeleteThat pendant light is gorgeous! It's going to make such a difference over your desk! Can't wait to see it (and how you'll get those icky flourescent fixtures out).
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I love that. It will look so fab in the space!
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what that space needs! Brilliant! Can't wait to see it installed. I'll be stalking until then. :)
