Feed-N-Wax Giveaway!

So, I thought I'd share the amazing bounty of Howard products that my new friend (COO of Howard Products) Eric Howard sent to me this week.  Behold the awesome generosity of this man!
Let's break this down so you can really see all the stuff.  The right side contains a few different shades of Restor-A-Finish and tons of baby Feed-N-Wax bottles!
The other side is a bunch of different products by Howard, paste wax, granite cleaner, orange oil, upholstery cleaner, 'Sunwax' for outdoor furniture, butcher block conditioner and oil, and what I will probably be using right away - the brass and silver polish!
Realizing that there is no way I could ever use all the 4.7oz Feed-N-Wax bottles, I am going to do a little giveaway.  Everyone who comments on this post will get a chance to win two mini bottles of Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner.  I would also love it if you would tell me what you plan to use it for!  I will be choosing THREE winners, so comment away and be sure to include an email if not available on your blog.

Giveaway closes Wednesday night, I will announce the winners Thursday and try to get them in the mail Friday!  Read all about the wonderful products made by Howard here, and check out my experience with Restor-A-Finish and Feed-N-Wax here

ps - Mr. Howard didn't send these items to me with the intention of getting free advertising, nor for me to do a giveaway.  He was simply sharing his products with me because he knew I would appreciate them and use them.  I'm sharing the Feed-N-Wax with my readers (and paying for the shipping) because I know you will love it!

  4. I'd love to try this product on a huge antique tiger oak cabinet that my mother-in-law gave us for our dining room. Your cabinet turned out so incredible. I wonder how long it lasts? Will you have to do it again after a while or is it one time application?

  15. Thanks for the awesome giveaway. My dining room table, which has seen much better days, is rocking a very weird whitish stain on it that virtually appeared out of nowhere. The next day I read about you using this. I am hopeful this could be the solution to my woes.

  16. I would really love to try this stuff on our new 'sideboard'. It's actually a dresser that I found at the thrift store for 60 bucks. I love it, and it's a nice rich medium tone, but it's covered in little scratches and marks. It definitely was well loved in the past! It would ad some nice shine to our dining room if I was able to polish it up a bit.

  17. I would love to try this on my mahogany bedroom set. It was my parents first big furniture purchase after they were married, in 1941! It needs some major TLC! justmeande at yahoo dot com

  20. Wow! That is so amazingly nice of HIM and YOU! I would LOVE to use the walnut stain on a pass through we plan to (finally) install in the area between the kitchen and TV room. It's only been sitting empty as the top of 2 sheets of drywall and a 2x4 for 18 months now...

  21. I have two night stand dressers that I plan to refinish. This would help me do it without sanding and keeping the finish. Once I read your post, I decided this is the way to go. Thanks for the giveaway. Fun!

  22. Oooh you know I'd love this! I'd probably put it to work on our living room coffee table which is in very sad shape.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow, that's awesome!! If I'm a lucky winner I'll be using it on our inherited dining room table. Someday we need to refinish it, but it could use some love in the mean time!

  28. There's an antique shop close to my house that has cans of the Restor-a-Finish for sale and have been tempted many times by the promises on the label. Now that I know it lives up to the label, I'll have to pick up a can for the million furniture projects I have waiting in the wings.

  35. dear sara,
i was once a lonely coffee table living in an old ladies basement. she then swindled her son into putting me on craigslist, where i met my new bff kristen. she has big plans to sand me, stain my top a sassy new shade of walnut, and then get me drunk on some 'feed and wax'. please help me in my quest to be fed and waxed.
    love always,

  46. I love the restor-a-finish! I have used it on lots of furniture (old hand me downs that now look FABULOUS) and even my hard wood floors after a had a few moving scratches (suggested by Home Depot employee)! My house is chaulk full of un-painted wood, so I have many many areas to use this on to keep everything looking beautiful. I would love to see how their other products work too...

Yeah, this is so exciting :)

  50. Wow that is a awesome box to get in the mail! I so need to win this. My great grandmothers china cabinet is waiting for me to pick up. I've been delaying because it needs some TLC due to water marks and I knew I wasn't up for a stain job and it is too important to slap a coat of paint on it.

  59. wow, that's a lot of stuff! i am thinking of two potentials for this product, both involving ages of grime and general nastiness, and possibly laminate. i think i need all the help i can get!

  60. Your amazing results motivate me to try it on the windowsills of our 85 yr old house. I refinished the windows 20 yrs ago but the sills have weathered and it would be a pain to strip them all over again.

  65. We have a 1920's Lane Cedar chest that I scored for $80 at an estate auction that is DYING for some love. Also, hell, our entire house is dying for some love so I'm sure we can find something to use it on around here.

  69. I was SO hoping to be comment #69, but that's neither here nor there.

As for the products - tonight, yes TONIGHT, I am planning to finish sanding my dining room table and hopefully staining it a lovely dark walnut. And I have a night stand and a dresser to sand and stain/paint as well. So....basically I need this. :)

  71. I am in possession of a family heirloom--an early 1920's Shaker style Huntboard that was always used in the large kitchen in a house we have in the country. I loved it so much that I brought it home so I could enjoy it on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the wood is very dry and almost ashy looking. Do you think these products could encourage the life back into it? I would very much like to be the one you choose, to try.
