Fabrics in the house, plus a Tonic Living discount!

Well, I got my fabrics from Tonicliving.com, and they did not disappoint!
I am in love with the chevron against the new wall color.
I plan to make simple curtains with blackout lining, if I can get my mom's help...I don't own a sewing machine and don't want to use the iron-on tape on such nice fabric.  I also prefer to not use clip rings, just in case something happens in the future and they shrink, I have that option of adding rings for a little extra length.  Look at me, thinking ahead!  The owls will make up the crib skirt, and I will have some left over for a pillow or two.
And because I'm awesome, I asked Janine at Tonic Living if she would like to share a coupon code with you all, and she was happy to do so!
You can use the code RUSSETSTREET at Tonic Living for a 10% discount (with no minimum purchase) through April 1, 2012.  Happy shopping!

Ooh, I've been a big Tonic Living fan ever since seeing them featured on a blog called Rambling Renovators. Plus, they're from my hometown - Toronto!

I LOVE the fabrics you picked out. Can't wait to see the final results.

Great fabrics you picked out Sara! Those look so perfect in the room. Love the little owls.

Thanks for the shout out Michelle :) Tonic Living is awesome.

Before you cut & sew you should wash & dry the fabrics the same way you will wash & dry the items later. That way you shouldn't have any shrinkage problems.

The fabrics look great with the paint & crib!

The fabric is so pretty! I love the zig zags, the baby needs a blanket in that fabric too (trust me)

I made a zig zag blanket and always gets compliments on it, everywhere we go :)

I LOVE Tonic Living. They are here in Ontario which is so nice to buy local and not have to pay customs to have fabric come over the border. The fabric you picked looks fantastic, especially with the new wall colour. Don't you just love the quality of their stuff?

I actually used them for a project I did this week, turning my broken mini blinds into a roman shade.

They also made my futon cover (so cheap for custom made!)

And I used their fabric to recover some chairs that I found.

Thanks for sharing the discount! I'll have to head over and check out some fabric for my next project :)
