Ok, this doesn't prove the time, but I assure you if you could see my raccoon eyes you would know this was about 5 hours past my normal bed time...or, 2am.
Enough about my shenanigans. I wanted to share a link to a Huffington Post Home feature on our kitchen! Amy contacted me before Christmas and asked if she could interview me for a little post on the kitchen renovation, how could I say no? You can check it out here.
ps - I love how the first comment says that our kitchen is entirely underwhelming. Awesome!
YAY! congrats and happy new year!!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the article - the peeps commenting obviously have not been following the chronicles of boozie suzie.....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great feature. I think the kitchen looks awesome, don't worry about the haters! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's exciting about the article!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! The comments there are always entertaining, no matter what the topic. I'm sure the person who left that comment has as much design knowledge as my mousepad.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Forget the haters....they are just jealous. I'm still waiting for you to come to my house and spruce it up anytime you are ready :)
ReplyDeletecongratulations! and Happy New Year :-)
ReplyDeletehaters gonna hate. i got your back. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the feature Sara! That's awesome. People are so ridiculous... those comments made me want to laugh. My favourite was "typical internet know-it-alls"... WHAT? hahaha OH PEOPLE! Whatever. I think you're kitchen is gorgeous and you guys did a great job! As long as you guys are loving it though, that's the most important part! HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for getting some "you" time and a feature. That first commenter on your kitchen can suck it...seriously. You guys rock!!!
ReplyDeletePeople are always douchy on those big sites...they can hide behind anonymity. the feature is awesome, and so is your kitchen!
ReplyDeleteYay for you! Screw the haters...
ReplyDeleteCongrats, that's awesome! Forget the negative comments. :)
ReplyDeleteSara, I love your remodeled kitchen! What the Huff Post article doesn't make clear is the context of the remodel--you're young, in your first home, with a new family and a budget. If the article would have placed your remodel in the context of what it was, the readers would have understood (like your blog readers do!) how spectacular your new kitchen really is!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about how we use our homes at the various stages in our lives--any good kitchen designer and contractor understands this and will advise accordingly. As a homeowner, you clearly know this, as well.
Frankly, I'm overwhelmed by your new kitchen! :-)
