Back to reality
We've had a very productive holiday season, worked on a lot of projects, and now we're enjoying this scene on our last night before regular work weeks resume (BOO):
It is divine. I've got some great posts coming this week, including the final dressing room pictures (it's almost done!) and a new room Shaun decided to tackle even though he told me I'M not allowed to start any new projects. What the heck? Here is a teaser I found on my camera after he got started while I was at work:
Oh yeah, it's a doozie. Hope everyone's New Years festivities were as memorable as this wallpaper was!

That picture is so relaxing and makes me want to snuggle up by the fire. I am returning to work tomorrow as well and this break has not been long enough.

ReplyDeleteI'm at work ... it was quite a shock gettin gup at 6:15AM again after being off for two weeks. Oh well ... got to do something to pay for all the projects I have planned.
That's your living room? Wow! It's so cozy. I love your white fireplace and bookshelves. I'd be afraid to choose such rich colors, but it looks great in your home! (Maybe I'll paint our fireplace...)

ReplyDeleteAmanda, that is a duraflame log with WOOD on top. We don't have a gas insert, we like old-fashioned crackling of sawed up pallets and old trim pieces. ha
